 The SCEAFCS professional development team plans and executes opportunities for Family & Consumer Sciences Extension professionals through webinars, leadership training, and networking. Members gain access to continuing education, skill-building workshops, research presentations, and national peer collaboration to strengthen programs and advance their careers.

The Member Resources Committee supports and strengthens the SCEAFCS membership experience by promoting engagement, connection, and professional growth. The committee focuses on recruitment and retention, mentoring, leadership development, and member recognition to ensure all members feel valued, supported, and empowered throughout their professional journey.

 The Awards & Recognition Committee celebrates excellence within SCEAFCS by honoring members for outstanding programming, leadership, scholarship, & service. The committee oversees the development, promotion, & selection process for state awards, ensuring a fair & meaningful recognition program that highlights impact and professional achievement across the association.

 The Public Affairs Committee advances the visibility and voice of SCEAFCS by promoting the value and impact of Family & Consumer Sciences Extension work. The committee supports advocacy efforts, strategic communications, and partnerships that strengthen public awareness, inform stakeholders, and elevate the profession at the regional and state levels.

The Fundraising Committee supports the mission of SCEAFCS by developing & implementing strategies to generate financial resources that sustain leadership development and member initiatives. The committee cultivates partnerships, explores sponsorship opportunities, and leads fundraising efforts that strengthen the association’s impact and long-term sustainability.

 The Annual Session Committee plans and coordinates the SCEAFCS Annual Session. The committee oversees program development, speaker selection, logistics, and member engagement to deliver a high-quality regional conference experience that fosters learning, networking, leadership growth, and celebration of member achievements.
